Nothing like owning a really expensive camera that you've quickly grown to dislike. Never thought to check when I bought it if it could host a wired remote. Using the RC, it wants me to make multiple attempts to wake up the focus via the RC's AF-ON button before it will accept a command to fire the shutter. If I'm working without a RC, the camera shutter will fire reliably, whether or not I've used my AF-ON button to establish focus first (fine, I'm a grown-up). The problem might be that it doesn't like being set up with back-button focus if using a bluetooth RC (actually, it doesn't like ImageEdge Mobile either - what a clunky unreliable faff that is!). Just when I reach my decisive moment, the bluetooth remote/camera goes all indecisive & will only agree to fire the shutter once I've stabbed at the AF-ON/shutter buttons on the remote and sworn a few times. We've been shooting the a7C with both its kit zoom and the sensibly compact FE 35mm F1.8, to see what the camera offers.īiggest disappointment is I can't attach a wired RC for reliable control of the shutter when using a tripod. ![]() The a7C's combination of size, image quality, AF performance and battery life make it a superb travel camera, but some awkward aspects of operation, including its small viewfinder, hold it back as a photographer's choice. Video is good but its operation can be a little awkward. The a7C's main improvement over the a7 III is an autofocus system that integrates all its subject recognition capabilities so you don't need to mess around changing modes to get the most out of it. Dynamic range is excellent but you need to shoot large, uncompressed Raw files to get the full benefit. The a7C produces both Raw and JPEG images that are a match for any of its peers. But there's a price to be paid, and this isn't necessarily a budget option. This could make it a powerful travel or family camera. The a7C's main strengths are its size and convenience. It still handles pretty well, though, with a solid body and a small but pretty comfortable grip. The a7C has three dials, all controlled using your thumb. If youre a fashion or portrait photographer, for example, youll want a camera with high resolution so you can capture fine detail and print images large scale. This means a smaller viewfinder but few other compromises. The best professional camera for you will depend, as is always the case, on what you shoot. The a7C fits almost all the capabilities of the a7 III into a body that has more in common with the a6000 series. ![]() The Sony a7C is available at a price of around $1799 ($2399 CAD) or with the new collapsible 28-60mm F4-5.6 kit zoom for around $2099 ($2699 CAD).įrom the camera's controls to the image and video quality it's capable of, find out what exactly what you want to know about the a7C right here. BMW is the smallest and least spacious car here, and that makes it lose here hands down. That extra space Chrysler has traded for the boot volume as it has a slightly smaller boot than the Dodge Charger. The interior cabin is the most spacious in the Chrysler, although just by a few tenths of an inch. The sedan comes with a cargo capacity of 16.5 cubic feet, which is not the best figure in the competition. Overall the Charger Scat Pack is a driver-focused car, and it is quite obvious by the way how everything is aligned towards the driver. It is also wrapped in leather and has controls for multimedia and cruise control as one would expect and also gets heating functionality. The steering wheel is very nice and chunky, unlike some which are thin as a stick. The Dodge Charger is the least efficient of the lot as it sports a larger engine and is a gas guzzler, to be honest.Ģ022 Dodge Charger Scat Pack Sedan Front Row SeatsĪs standard, the seats are cloth performance seats, but they can be upgraded to either Nappa leather or Alcantara seats, both of which are pretty comfortable. ![]() Also despite having a smaller fuel tank than others, it still manages to have the most driving range, thanks to its exceptional fuel economy rating. The most fuel-efficient car here is the BMW, which is not at all slow but is just better at making optimum use of power. A fuel talk of 18.5-gallon capacity means that the driving range is a mere 444 miles on highways, which is a decent figure in the competition. Talking about numbers, the Charger Scat Pack is rated by EPA at 15 mpg for the cities, 24 mpg for the highways, and 18 mpg for combined driving cycles, respectively. On the other hand, if you use Print, all the values will be printed on the same line, separated by a space character. This means that if you use Println to print multiple values, each value will be printed on a new line. ![]() The main difference between them is that Println adds a newline character at the end of the output, while Print does not. In Go, the Print and Println functions are used to print output to the console. The variables are passed to Printf() as arguments in the order that they should appear in the output string.ĭifferences between Print and Println functions The %v verb is used to represent the value of the variables name and age. We then use Printf() to print them as part of a sentence. In the example above, we declare two variables age and name. Output: My name is John and I am 25 years old. Here is an example of the Print function in action:Įnter fullscreen mode Exit fullscreen mode The Print function is useful for quickly printing a value or a set of values to the console for debugging purposes. If you want to use a different separator, you can use the Println function instead, which uses a newline character as the separator. The Print function takes zero or more arguments of any type and concatenates them into a string using spaces as separators, and then writes the resulting string to the standard output. The Print function in Go is a built-in function that allows you to print to the standard output (usually the console). We will also go on to explain the differences between the two functions and how they can be used to output strings, numbers, and variables. ![]() In this article, we will explain the importance of printing in programming and how Go provides two built-in functions, Print and Printf, for this purpose. The Print() and Printf() functions also accept multiple arguments, which are printed separated by spaces. These placeholders start with a percent sign (%), and the letter after the percent sign indicates the type of value to be replaced. The format string in Printf() can contain placeholders, which will be replaced with the values provided as arguments. The Print() function simply prints the text on the screen, while Printf() allows us to format the text before printing. The fmt package provides two main functions for printing: Print() and Printf(). In Go, printing is done through the fmt package, which is part of the standard library. Printing is the most basic way of displaying information on a computer screen. ![]() The song serves as a reminder that happiness is both a personal journey and a subjective experience, one that may encompass various complications and layers. Wolf Alice captures the essence of this internal conflict through introspective lyrics and the repetition of phrases that highlight the often unpredictable and disorienting nature of happiness. It navigates the contradictory emotions that arise when trying to let go of pain and embrace a new emotional state. Overall, "Blush" delves into the struggle of reconciling past hardships and accepting happiness. ![]() The question of whether others around the individual have also found happiness further emphasizes the complexity and subjectivity of personal joy. This repetition reinforces the idea that the journey towards happiness is ongoing and that even after achieving a state of contentment, the specter of past pain can still haunt. The outro brings us back to the beginning of the song, where the singer curses the things that have caused past sadness. This hesitation is countered by the affirmation that it's alright to embrace the potential of being what one could be. However, the line "turn me down like I knew I should" suggests a level of self-sabotage or fear of fully accepting happiness. The bridge echoes the sentiments of the pre-chorus, emphasizing the narrator's understanding that they are "good" and capable of happiness. By repeating these lines, Wolf Alice emphasizes the concept that true happiness cannot always be easily defined or understood. These phrases embody the confusion, surprise, and fleeting nature of joy. In the chorus, the repetition of "punch drunk, dumb struck, pot luck happy happy" reinforces the complexities of happiness. The line "pot luck happy, happy" further implies that happiness can sometimes feel random and unpredictable. The usage of the phrases "punch drunk, dumb struck" adds a layer of disorientation and vulnerability associated with a state of happiness. ![]() This suggests a fear of vulnerability or a hesitancy to fully embrace happiness. The narrator has figured out that they are "good" and capable of being happy, yet acknowledges a sense of rejection or being turned down. The first pre-chorus introduces a conflicting state of mind. However, the realization that these sources of sadness can still persist despite personal growth and happiness raises the question of whether genuine happiness can truly be achieved. This highlights the burden of carrying past pain and the struggle to let go. In the first verse, the singer curses the things that have caused them sadness for a prolonged period. Through its lyrics and repetition, the band emphasizes the importance of acknowledging personal growth and allowing oneself to experience happiness. The song delves into the contradictory emotions, introspection, and challenges faced while trying to rid oneself of past sadness and embrace a new state of joy. 'She' was the first song to come from the EP, which was uploaded to the band's SoundCloud page. The EP was produced by Austen Jux-Chandler. It was released on 7 October 2013 by Chess Club Records. "Blush" by Wolf Alice explores the journey of finding happiness and the complexities within it. Blush is the second extended play (EP) by English alternative rock band Wolf Alice. ![]() ![]() Although genital warts can go away on their own, seeing a doctor can get rid of them faster. You can get genital warts through skin-to-skin contact (think vaginal, anal, or oral sex) with someone who has them, and they’re actually pretty common-around 360,000 people get infected with them each year, according to Planned Parenthood. (Important to note: You can have a strain of HPV that causes genital warts without any bumps showing up-and you can also pass genital warts to a partner even if you don’t see any on yourself, according to Planned Parenthood 7.) But warts don’t always look like that-sometimes they’re flat instead of raised, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 6. “They have the appearance of a little piece of cauliflower, and many times you’ll have more than one,” says Dr. Human papilloma virus (HPV), the most common sexually transmitted infection, can cause genital warts, which often manifest in a telltale way. Greves recommends checking in with your doctor. But if you suspect you have one (you can usually see the hair in the center) and it’s not going away, or it feels like it’s getting more uncomfortable or even painful, Dr. Luckily, ingrown hairs usually go away without treatment. If your vaginal bump is an ingrown hair, it’s probably on the labia majora (the outer lips that are typically covered with pubic hair) rather than the labia minora (the inner lips), Dr. This bump usually looks like a firm, round, pus-filled, or blister-like lesion. Your body actually perceives the hair as an invader, which leads to inflammation, pain, and a tiny bump as the hair continues to grow and coil inward. Shaving creates sharp edges on your hair, so a curved hair follicle (like most pubic hairs) is ripe for poking in the wrong direction. Shaving can also lead to ingrown hairs, which develop when shaved or tweezed hair is cut in a way that forces it to grow back into the skin 5. Not sure what’s going on down there? Here are the most common reasons for a bump on your labia or other genital parts and when to see your doctor about it. There are different kinds of bumps (think cysts, pimples, and even boils) you might come across in your general vaginal area, and there are several potential causes for them-with cancer being the least likely. 1, a gynecologist at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York, and coauthor of The Complete A to Z for Your V, tells SELF. “Women come into my office worried about genital bumps all the time, and many jump to the initial, horrible conclusion that they have cancer,” Alyssa Dweck, M.D. Before you get too freaked out, though, take a breath and know that many reasons for bumps on your vulva (the outside area of your genitals) or labia (the part of the vulva known as the lips) aren’t as sinister as you might assume. But bumps near your vaginal area? That can understandably feel a little more confusing and unsettling. By now, you’ve probably dealt with some kind of bump on your face. ![]() in more expensive locks (like mine) you'll feel (and excuse the hokey onomotopeia) .CLICK. In addition to goods, the network facilitated an unprecedented exchange of ideas, religions ( especially Buddhism), philosophies, and scientific discoveries, many of which were syncretised or reshaped by the societies that encountered them. Later, under the rule of the Yuan Dynasty set up by Kublai Khan of the Mongols, trade from China along the Silk Road would reach its peak. Camels were popular animals for transport because much of the road was through dry and harsh land.Īlthough there was some trade between China and the rest of the world for some time, the silk trade was significantly expanded and promoted by the Han Dynasty which ruled from 206 BC to 220 AD. Traveling in a big group like a caravan helped in defending from bandits. Merchants and tradesmen traveled in large caravans. They imported, or bought, goods like cotton, ivory, wool, gold, and silver. This was because it was a long trip and merchants didn't have a lot of room for goods. Most of what was traded was expensive luxury goods. The Chinese sold silk for thousands of years and even the Romans called China the "land of silk".īesides silk, the Chinese also exported (sold) teas, salt, sugar, porcelain, and spices. People throughout Asia and Europe prized Chinese silk for its softness and luxury. It was called the Silk Road because one of the major products traded was silk cloth from China.
